I was so fortunate to be following Gagne Homestead and Rescue on Facebook back in October, when a puppy was posted looking for a forever home. I reached out to Jeff and that same day met him and the puppy which was love at first sight. I had such a great experience adopting Mowgli, the Love and care Jeff has for all of his animals was very evident. The support from Jeff was not only amazing during the adoption process and shortly after but it he has continued to support myself and Mowgli throughout the entire time post adoption (7+months). I can’t even begin to express the extent of my gratitude for Gagne Homestead and Jeff! I couldn’t imagine my life without my Wobbly little bestie 🐶

I have been involved with this rescue for a couple years now and it is the main animal rescue organization that we support. The main operator, Jeff, is a compassionate and caring individual. I have witnessed him enthusiastically helping both animals and people in need. When he has more than he needs, he shares with other rescues and our outreach (help for poverty situations/emergency). He has grown since I was first introduced, because he is fiscally responsible and has a stellar reputation in our community. He has a funding system based in donations of cans and bottles in the community, not just asking for money. He’s a hard working, caring individual and I highly recommend supporting this rescue.

5/5

A truly outstanding rescue. They genuinely love animals and do everything to nurture their rescues and connect them with adopters who will provide loving homes. We got our rescue from them and Jeff just wants to find good homes for their fosters. Easily the most approachable rescue in the NCR and you can see that the whole family has a passion for their animals.

We had a great experience visiting the rescue! My daughter was so happy to get to interact with the animals!

My kids and the whole family were in Dream Land! Picking up the donated foods and feeding it to the cows, pigs, and various birds - it was awesome! Very nice people! The kids, Vanessa, and Jeff were very kind, supportive, open and informative about all details and the value of their rescue operation! We need more support for them and this type of animal - sustainable operation.

This is a wonderful rescue and homestead filled with great people. I’ve been involved with them for nearly a year now — fundraising and spreading the word whenever I can. They’re reasonable, personable, and truly go above and beyond, both as a rescue and in their personal kindness.

An amazing group of humans looking out for our animals in need. These are the hardest working, selfless people our animals could ask for. Thank you for everything you do!

I would not recommend working with them or supporting their business. Absolutely unprofessional and toxic behaviour. They also run a local Facebook group where they block anyone who dares to disagree with them.
